About the Position:
Project LEARN, Inc., is seeking a self-motivated Organizational Support Intern who is looking for a position on a dynamic, forward-thinking, team. This position will provide a supportive environment for the Organizational Support Intern to expand their professional experience and share new, innovative ideas with the team. The Organizational Support Intern will support the entire Project LEARN team (programming, communications/fundraising, and operations) allowing them to have a unique, behind-the-scenes look into how a non-profit organization is run.
The Organizational Support Intern will report to this Director of Operations; Senior Development Manager; and Senior Manager, Pathways & Partnerships.
The Organizational Support Intern should be highly skilled in oral and written communications, organization, research, and will also be versed in Google and Canva. The Organizational Support Intern should also be comfortable working with middle and high school aged students and have an interest in program delivery, business management, social media and development. Some responsibilities may include:
Researching individual donors, Lowell alumni members and corporate sponsors;
Drafting content such as enews letters, flyers, and other marking materials;
Supporting managing Project LEARN's social media accounts;
Supporting the team during various events and programs;
Updating the Project LEARN, Inc. website as needed;
Supporting the implementation of educational programs, including preparing materials, coordinating activities, and facilitating sessions when needed;
Helping with outreach efforts to engage local schools, students, and families, including sharing promotional materials throughout Lowell;
Assisting in gathering feedback from program participants, analyzing results, and contributing to reports on program effectiveness;
Gathering data on educational trends, best practices, and impact assessments to inform program development and improve organizational effectiveness;
Handling cash deposits and supporting the printing of checks;
Assisting with organizing and hosting of events and programs; and
Other like assignments as needed.
Following the satisfactory completion of this position, part-time employment may be extended out to the Organizational Support Intern.
